Make your system to greet you on startup.

               You would have seen in many films, where a smart computer, used to welcome or greet the HERO. It would be really good if it happens in real world to ordinary computers too. So, immediately a question arises.

Is it Possible? 
The answer is YES

The trick is simple. You don’t need any software to do this. All you need is a Notepad. That’s it..! So, by this you can set some startup greet as your default startup tone. You can do this with only notepad. C’mon Let’s Rock…..

Just Follow these steps:-

STEP:1 :- Open notepad and type the following text

Greeting Codes

STEP:2 :- Type these following codes.
Dim speaks, speech
speaks=”Welcome Master. Thanks For coming back”
Set speech=CreateObject(“sapi.spvoice”)
speech.Speak speaks
STEP:3 :-
You can change “Welcome Master. Thanks for coming back” word as whatever you want. Remember to use punctuation so that the pronunciation gets more correct.

STEP:4 :-
Now, save the notepad with .vbs extension (Welcome.vbs) by clicking all files and not as *.txt.

STEP:5 :-
The file Would look like the one below.Now cut it and put it in the location given below.

Now put it in startup folder. You can find your startup folder using below path.

In Windows XP the path is C:Documents and SettingsAll UsersStart MenuProgramsStartup

In Windows Vista, the path is C:ProgramDataMicrosoftWindowsStartMenuProgramsStartup

In Windows 7 and 8, the path is C:ProgramDataMicrosoftWindowsStart MenuProgramsStartup
